Vanilla Coffee Syrup
Would I love to go out and get coffee daily…yes. But that isn’t reality. I didn’t want to sacrifice my favorite flavors when making coffee at home. That’s why I recently started making my own coffee syrups. It’s quite an easy process and saves me money. A big part of our homestead journey is finding ways to recreate the things we love without sacrificing taste. I really do enjoy the trial and error of figuring out the perfect recipe. A few pumps of this syrup into iced or hot coffee is all you need.
To make the coffee syrup you are only going to need 3 items. Sugar, water and vanilla extract.
Step 1:
Add 3/4 cup sugar and 3/4 cup water into a sauce pan.
Step 2:
Turn to medium heat and mix until sugar dissolves. Take off heat once dissolved.
Step 3:
Add in 1 tbsp vanilla extract. Allow syrup to cool. Add into a mason jar, syrup dispenser, or any container. Doesn’t need to be refrigerated.
